REALLY COOL I LOVE THIS
the percussion is so cool with the lil clinks and clanks
It all blends together super well

You seem to like long, complex melodies but they arent memorable really, so i'd love to see a shorter, catchier melody in another song!

I guess so, but i did want it to be clear that it was TRIP’s spiritual successor of sorts, and that it isn’t a coincidence that they sound alike. Maybe I’ll remove it though

Additionally, the chill piece before the weird trippy chaos is how it generally should be imo. But yea. C'est la vie and all that

I love the trippy synths at the beginning
The snare or kick thingy starting 0:32 isnt the greatest imo
Crazy good for 30 mins tho wow!
I'd love to see an expansion on this

The thing is, the melody feels a little (a LOT) vague, and the snare sounds like absolute dogshit (considering how overcompressed it is LOL)

The piano and bells in the first buildup are a lil robotic but they work pretty well in the drop

The bass kinda gets overshadowed in the mix in the first drop
I think it might have worked better with a different bassline instead of the slap bass in that first drop

Tbh, the bass was more of a background element than a primary part of the song, so that’s why it mightve been overshadowed in the second part of the first drop. But still, fair points all around.

I like the bit where its segmented but when the amen break happens inbetween in those parts where everything stops, its kinda there but not if you know what i mean, could be brought out more
Also this song doesnt seem to have a melody, or a chord progression, they would be nice to have maybe

This was supposed to be a short little thing, rather than a full blown song (hence the length being only about 1.5 minutes). If you want me to, I MIGHT be able to fully extend it. Just lemme know.

Also, the idea of this being very minimal is very intentional, hence why there’s only one chord and no melody the whole time (if I’m being honest, these types of songs are very conditional for whether or not melodies work with it. as such, idk if this one will work with a melody. I can definitely try to change the chord progressions around though)

Also, the break has an ungodly amount of distortion on it, so idk if bringing up the volume would work. Supposed to be more of a backing track than a main piece of it anyways (at least for the first break section).
