Reminds me of a lil bug that always randomly shows up in games, like Oocoo (however you spell it) from Zelda Twilight Princess….. up until 1:38 when it’s all spooky!!?? I love that part!

The mix isn’t perfect but I love the ideas
I think I’d turn down the drums lots to really bring out the melody. Think ab what you want the listener to focus on. I really love the melody but the drums just ruin it a bit for me, they feel really messy and loud.
I love that you’ve listed all your inspiration!

Some of the piano doesn’t fit in the first section imo
It’s like the key signature is mixed between the different instruments. Maybe I’m crazy lol.

This was a pretty experimental track using lots of glitch and pitching effects - I made sure to keep the piano in key, it was kind of meant to sound a bit like a vibraphone, to emphasize the jungle theme, but i can definitely see how it might not fit exactly into the mix 🤔.

Thanks dude! this was an interesting challenge for sure, i composed it first on the acoustic guitar and had only 6 hours to transfer everything to the software i use and add more arrangments, my file got corrupted twice but I managed to finish it just in time for the contest 😎

The synth in the right ear that comes in at 0:35 is too loud imo

1:11 slaps, I want more of that!!! I think the snare made it loads more interesting, like it was building up to something
